Blue Blindfold – the International Campaign against Human Trafficking

The Blue Blindfold campaign has been endorsed by Crime Stoppers International. CSI intend to participate in the campaign and encourage all Crime Stopper programmes across the world to do the same. CSI will be engaging in programmes in South Africa and Dubai in the forthcoming months and Blue Blindfold will be promoted as a tool to be used for awareness raising of this type of crime.

Blue Blindfold is also being used in the UK. Sussex Crimestoppers launched the campaign in July this year.
Sussex was the first Crimestoppers branch in the UK to launch the campaign and they will be using posters and postcards throughout their region.

Crimestoppers is interested in what people know, not who they are, which makes it the ideal reporting mechanism for anyone who may have information about human trafficking, or who is a victim of human trafficking but are afraid to go the police.
